The How to Approaching God's Throne in worship.

Join me as we continue to work through Thankful November. Today I want want to look at approaching God's throne in Praise.  The question, almost as big as God, is how?
Reminding you of how to approach God’s throne in worship. Yes, you are welcome.
In the first post this month I talked about how music helps me to encounter or commune with God. But to commune with  God we need to come to God humbly remembering how great He is.
God gives, He takes away, but most of all He loves us.
Jesus came so we can come to the Father.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:28-29
Looking at this one verse we can learn so much about approaching God's throne in Praise.

Reminding you of how to approach God’s throne in worship. Yes, you are welcome. Grace

1. We need grace. Not one of us is perfect or even good. We fail miserably, but that should not keep us from the Father God.
2. Serve God, some may disagree but I believe that one way to serve God is to worship Him. We also need to help others learn to worship him in Spirit and Truth.
3. We need to come to God reverently. When I went to Emmaus, before we went to chapel they would remind us of this. God is great and He wants us to be able to have a good time, but He deserves our respect.
4. Godly fear. This doesn't mean we should be shaking in our boots. No, it means we understand how powerful God is.

Are you prepared to come to God's throne now?
Grace is offered so you can come to God.
I have chosen a few songs to worship God with. As you listen to them reflect on God's awesomeness and praise and thank Him.

Give Thanks
